A machine that allows to create bags from big bags
Since mid-June, the warehouse in Montivilliers (based in Normandy) is equipped of a new machine. This machine is dedicated to a specific kind of flows : chemical goods that are produced in Le Havre.
This new machine will allow to deal with a bigger flows. At the beginning, the chemical company asked an other logistics company to handle the flows. But now, this flow is handled by XP LOG. Those machines can create 25 kg Kraft paper bags from 600kg big bags.
A new process will be setting up in September 2018. This time, it will allow to make 600 kg big bags from 25 kg bags. Our teams in Le Havre manage this flows. They also support the company to answer their needs and provide them tailored solutions.
In addition, this customer also works with Sealogis to manage their export flows. Moreover, the transport between XP LOG warehouses and the customer factory is made by our transport department.
